Julia McBride ’20

Julia is a Choral Music Education major from Plymouth, MA. While she has loved music since a young age, it wasn’t until high school that she tapped into her undying passion for singing (specifically a cappella). It was there that she became an overly-dedicated member of her vocal music program, participating in a number of school and district-based choirs, drama club and two a cappella groups. Her mixed a cappella group, Northern Lights, was at the heart of this. The incredible experiences she had with them led her to make the big leap to UD so she could pursue her growth as a musician. Getting into Vocal Point was an absolute dream come true for her and she is so thankful that she gets to make music/love life with such a perfect group of human beings. She is also thankful for the undying support she receives from her beautiful family, her best friends (from MA and UD), her new puppy, Seamus, and coffee ice cream.
